The system employs compact, synchronized, high-frequency waterproof sensors strategically placed on the interior of both ankles. These sensors provide critical load metrics tailored for running sports, delivering precise insights that help quantify the impact of each step. This technology facilitates the monitoring and identification of asymmetries in the lower limbs through a user-friendly, cloud-based dashboard.

With the IMU Step iOS application, trainers can easily select an athlete's profile, input contextual information regarding training sessions, and access live data streamed directly from the sensors on an Apple device. Real-time metrics, including intensity levels, are calculated and presented dynamically, allowing for immediate analysis. Additionally, users can record and save video footage of training sessions, providing a comprehensive view of performance.

For further data analysis, IMU Step Desktop is available for both PC and Mac users, enabling download and assessment of sensor data through the IMU Step online dashboard.

It is important to note that the IMU Step iOS application is compatible solely with IMeasureU’s BlueTrident Inertial Sensors operating on firmware version 10.0.1 or higher.
